Wood
All our frames are built from solid wood. For this we use only the highest quality lumber.
These pieces have been carefully selected to ensure minimal variances, but still show the natural character of the product.
We also harvest our wood from sustainable forests.
Frame
We provide the highest craftsmanship. Our frames have been sculpted into a classical and elegant design by our expert carpenters at a traditional wood factory.
Our design and measurements are custom made to smartly showcase your diploma, where the frame should look exquisite but not distract from the document it holds inside.
Matting
Premium preservation and museum quality mats, which are acid and lignin free, are used to keep your documents safe and conserve them over a lifetime.
Since the frames are especially made to hold your University degree, the colours of the mats are specifically made to match the colours of your alma mater.
University Name and Insignia
We take great care to carefully emboss your University name and emblem on each mat. Affixing the University’s trademarked insignia showcases where you received your education and use of the seal shows that your frame is not a mass-produced or standardised product.
We have entered into partnerships with each University we make frames for. That means part of the proceeds from each frame sold go back to supporting your University educating future classes.
Glass
Our special and authentic Plexiglas® has a number of advantages over standard glass. Built-in UV-protection prevents sun or other light from damaging your document. Over decades, an exposed document behind normal glass will be subject to fading.
It is lighter and 10 times more resistant to breaking or smashing (in case the frame ever falls). Finally, the outside is coated with a scratch resistant material to prevent marks.
Made in Europe
From designing to manufacturing, from the wooden frames to the glass and the mats – all our frames are 100% produced in the EU.
Each frame is also individually embossed and hand assembled in Germany. This not only helps support the local economy, but ensures the quality of our product is consistent and uncompromising.
